Why do we age?

In 1997, a French mistress named Jeanne Calment went to doom after spending 122 years on planet earth. She is the oldest person in history. Dmitry Kaminskiy, a millionaire, promised to give one million dollars to anyone who could break Jeanne's record. Living to this age is merely impossible, maybe only a few likely to accomplish it. The human body isn't forced to adapt to extreme aging, simply isn't built for extreme aging. Why are we aging? How does aging counteract the body's effect to stay alive? We know what it means to age. But finding a proper definition of aging is still a challenge. The internal processes and interactions with the surroundings like toxins in the air, water, and our diet result in changing structure and function of body cells. Continuously, the failure of the whole organism might occur.  Recently, researchers have sorted nine physiological traits ranging from genetic modifications to the cell's regenerative ability. The cell's regenera...

Which is the best vaccine?

The world has started vaccinating. When it comes to getting vaccinated against Corona, which one would you prefer? Which vaccine is the best or with the least side effects? When you get an option to choose either covishield or covaxin, which one has minimum side effects?  Common side effects due to vaccinations It is very common to feel pain or get swollen in the vaccinated area. Systematic side effects include headaches, fever, fatigue. These are the common side effects people suffer from, also there can be some rare side effects. Not all those who are vaccinated get these side effects. But side effects are proportionated to 10-30% of the people who are vaccinated. Here a question may arise, if I have a pre-medical condition then am I at a higher risk of getting side effects? And the obvious answer is "it is idiosyncratic." There is no way of predicting whom it is going to affect. Types of vaccine Vaccines are classified into 3 categories based on their nature. Firstly, ...

LIFE AFTER DEATH

IS THERE LIFE AFTER DEATH..? Every human’s life tends to reach a doom at some point in time. Death is the inevitable end of all active bodies. But then people believe that life is probable after death. Though the bodily mass seems to be dead, the soul may be living ceaselessly. The soul is the complete representation of us in an imprecise illustration. Once the biological functions inside the human body ceases, the dynamic and fleshy body turns into a corpse. The corpse is either buried and let the nature’s scavengers play their role or burned to ashes following different religious customs. So you suppose that is the end of a human life..? DEATH IS NOT AN END I neither deny nor affirm the immortality of man. I see no reason for believing in it, on the other hand, I have no means of disapproving it. -Thomas Henry Huxley                         There are masses of scrutiny on life after death. As we know, the simple portra...

BUTTERFLY EFFECT- HOW SMALL CHANGES DRIVES US TO AN IMMENSE CHANGE?

Have you heard of a term called the butterfly effect? Whenever you solve a math problem, a minor change in substitution might result in a greater error. The same happens in the big picture. It is believed that when a butterfly flutters its wing in Australia, It might create a hurricane in Texas. This beautiful term "Butterfly Effect" was coined by Edward Lorenz. But what if I say that if there isn't the occurrence of WW1, India still would under the British Raj. Which means we might not even be born. Likewise, relate each story which I am going to demonstrate below. From world war 1, to the creation of anime, every single change in our lives in some way is the other related to our huge success.  MISINTERPRETATION OF ROUTE LED TO WW1  The great leader from Austria(Archduke Ferdinand carl Ludwig joseph maria) was transiting in a car with his wife, in front of which there were four cars, furious Hungarians came to attack those cars. But they didn't know Ferdinand is in o...

DIAMOND RAIN-NEPTUNE !

When we look out the window. The sky was tar-black and the large clouds were moving towards us. A tapping sound on the window and then it became a pitter-patter. People ran for cover outside and umbrellas were opened as the clouds spat out their beads of water. Puddles began plinking as the rainfall became heavier. But what if the tiny droplets are made of diamonds? Yeah you heard me right! it rains diamonds in Neptune.  Now it’s time to start exploring and learning more about intriguing diamond worlds of the Solar system. Harshil Gudka on Unsplash Neptune is the eighth and farthest planet from the Sun in the Solar System (sorry Pluto). Neptune’s atmosphere is composed primarily of hydrogen and helium, along with traces of hydrocarbons and possibly nitrogen; however, it contains a higher proportion of “ices” such as water, ammonia and methane. Neptune and Uranus are called the ”ice giants” of our Solar system because their outer two layers consist of compounds that include hydrog...
